More Like Home

Last night we made a big jump...feeling less like we're living in someone else's house, and more like this house will become our home.

Our dear friends from our old town, Dave, Jen, Ella, and Delia, joined us for swimming, dinner, and more swimming.  It was so fun to have them here and catch up.  All the kids took to the pool like little fishies, and we all enjoyed eating dinner outside without having to dry off too much.  The grownups got to chat and swim while the kids wore themselves out in the pool.

Jen had the good idea to try and get a picture of the kids.  Jeff told her to get the camera ready, so he told all the kids to come to him because he had a secret.  I forget what the "secret" was, but he wanted them to look at Jen and see how long he could stay underwater.  This was the one picture she took, and that smudge underwater is Jeff.  He cracks me up.
