When we got home from our mountain getaway, we hosted our dear friends, Jacob and Laura, and their three kids, Penelope, Maverick, and Lewis. We were so thrilled to have them with us, and we persuaded them to stay two nights instead of one. These pictures are in no particular order, by the way.
Benjamin and Penelope are closest in age and seemed to be on the same wavelength. Here, he said, "I can march in place!" and she said, "So can I!"
Our big kids love their little kids.
We have matching minivans, oh, my. And we LOVE our minivans.
They are so cute, I just had to include one more PJ picture.
The guys did the 3rd Annual Polar Bear Plunge. Everybody else kept a safe distance.
Benjamin's name reminded Penelope of the word "gingerbread," so she kept calling him Gingerman. Benjamin really does sound a lot like Gingerman. Laura and I found this hilarious. Benjamin did not.
But we all found Lewie adorable. This was our first time to meet him.
The kids shared laughs.
The girls shared a room.
And we grownups squeezed in some conversation while the little ones slept. We are so happy that we got to visit with our friends!
