Siri...Jonathan loves her so much. My mom took care of her while we went to the snow, and Jonathan talked about her every day.
These photos don't look like they're in any kind of order, but here goes. We went to the mountains to unplug and recover from December. We're so thankful that there was snow this year, and we didn't have to drive to higher elevations to get to it. We loved snowshoeing and a little sledding, although we learned that our kids are not brave about sledding.

Since we had snow, the kids played on and near the deck for long periods of time. Here, they are "collecting specimens" to put on display, and I believe they were planning a nature museum that charged admission.
We had lots of time to relax and read, too!

We took Jen's recommendation of Apples to Apples and tried to buy one, but since it was right after Christmas, that game couldn't be found. We found a Freestyle version, which was a little different, but still provided a lot of laughs.
We had to stop for some cookies. The kids have started to rely on this tradition.
