Interview with the Eleven-Year-Old, Plus Birthday Pictures

As you can see, our oldest is growing up.  Here's what he had to say about himself in December, and I'm glad to have written it down, because he changes so quickly.  Birthday pictures follow the little interview.

Favorite color: Red
Favorite food:  Macaroni and cheese
Favorite book:  Menagerie, book 3 (Krakens and Lies)
Favorite movie:  The Lego Movie
Favorite song:  Everything is Awesome
Favorite thing to play:  Legos
When he grows up, he wants to be:  Lego model designer
His perfect day would be:  Going to Legoland, and then going to the forest and having a red-tailed hawk perch on his arm

Stats:  Just shy of 59" tall (yes, that's almost 5 feet tall, folks - 80th %ile) and 74 lbs (35th %ile.)

It's become a tradition in our house to have birthday gifts at the breakfast table.  It's funny how the things you actually do over and over become tradition.  This is one of the accidental traditions we have.
Thanks, everyone, for showering him with gifts!

And a special birthday dinner for the birthday boy, too.
