Bridging

Jonathan enjoyed another year of Cub Scouts this year (and by "enjoyed," I mean that sometimes he liked it, and sometimes we made him do it.)  He had a good den leader and was part of a good pack, and we appreciate the activities that they provided.  Although we are trying to raise balanced, well-rounded kids, they really have no interest in being balanced or well-rounded.  So, we figure that Cub Scouts is one really good way to help Jonathan learn about, and do, things that he wouldn't gravitate toward normally.  It's been good for all of us, I think.

This is his bridging ceremony as he "bridged" into Webelos.  It made him feel like a big kid, I think.  He was proud of himself, and we were, too.  We're looking forward to a great year with the Webelos in the fall.
