Wish List for the Kids-Updated 8/2/10

We are big fans of Compassion International and Bethany and would be thrilled if anyone would like to make a donation to them on our behalf.

Sizes:  Grace is running "true to age" which puts her in size 18-24 mos. (same as 24 mos.) Sept.-March.  She wears a size 4 shoe or sandal now and I'm anticipating a 5 for winter.

Jonathan is in a size 6.  Boys' sizes vary between stores, so when a 6 is available, I get a 6, but if only a 5/6 is available, I get a 7.  He wears shoe size 13 or 13 1/2. He is already wishing for footed pajamas for the fall. :)  He can always use long-sleeved shirts.

Jonathan
Small is the theme!  Our space is limited, and we want our kids to continue to appreciate the small joys in life, so we hope you'll think "small" both in size and in price when you consider gifts...

He loves, loves, loves to read, build, and pretend.  Playmobil and Lego are favorites, but please remember to think small.  :)  He reads independently...pretty much anything.  We get lots of mileage out of our books.  Space, animals, vehicles, and the way things work are favorite themes.

We love magazine subscriptions.  He receives Click and Big Backyard as well as his free subscription to Lego Club, Jr.  He loves to get mail!

Grace
Small is the theme for Grace, too, in physical size and price.  She has been blessed by the many gender-neutral gifts that you gave to Jonathan when he was this age!

She also loves to "read."  She loves pictures of animals and babies in her stories.

She will still be in a crib when our baby comes, and I would love some girly crib sheets for her to match the bold colors of Jonathan's room (which they will share.)  (Toddler sheets and crib sheets are the same size, by the way.)  Here's one fun collection.  Jonathan is OK with this being in his room, :) but anything along these lines is great:
Circo Happy Flower Toddler Bed Set
Circo Happy Flower Sheet and Pillowcase
Circo Happy Flower Pillow
Circo Happy Flower Bed Skirt
More than one sheet set would be great, and a crib-sized mattress pad or two would be wonderful!

Grace enjoys her Baby Stella, so doll clothes might be fun, too.  Amazon seems to have the most choices-click here.  Baby Stella is a small 15" doll, so I'm guessing clothes for any 13-15" doll would work.

Baby #3
I have saved almost all the kids' baby stuff, and you have all been so generous along the way, so we are thankful to be set, with the exception of one or two things:

Our infant car seat has expired.  I will be researching to figure out which one to get or use a friend's.  I am pretty sure I have the use of a double stroller, but I may be shopping for one of those, too.
