Annoying

I read something recently that talked about how kids would remember the things that we, as parents, say to them over.  It encouraged us to decide what we want them to remember, and then say that over and over.  I was curious what my kids hear me say repeatedly, so I asked them what I say to them all the time.  I expected them to say "put away your dirty clothes" or "brush your teeth" or something similar.  But, Grace said that I always say, "I love you."  And Jonathan said, "Definitely.  And it gets annoying."

Ha!  I cracked up..silently.  If I'm annoying the nine year old, my job here is done!  :)
