Visiting

Just a quick post to say we're still having a good visit. Both kids got lots of attention from lots of grandparents today, which is great.

Jonathan pulled out his Little People Nativity Set tonight and got really into playing with it. The wise men were giving baby gifts to Jesus. One was giving baby Jesus a squishy toy like the one Grandma and Grandpa gave to Grace. The other two, Jonathan said, were giving Jesus frank...and sense. I love that boy!

Meeting Grace

We're still here! Jeff's parents are visiting, so we haven't had (and won't have) the chance to post much. This is John's first time to meet Grace. Jonathan is soaking up his grandparents' attention, and Grace is warming up to them. She still whimpers a bit for other people, but she's doing better. I think everyone is enjoying time together. I'll post more in a few days when we're done visiting.

Lego Creation

I can't remember what he called this one. I'll ask him and then post it later. It just looked really complicated to me, but he knew exactly what he wanted to build from the moment he started.

Edit: Jonathan says it was a snowplow and then it became a milk tanker. And our next vehicle will still hold milk but will be called a milk supply. It will have giant tanks on the back to hold milk, and that truck will be really strong.

Wii Had Fun...

We had some family over on Saturday night and enjoyed some Wii time. Everyone bowled. It's amazing how everyone becomes a good bowler on the Wii. Todd and Jeff golfed. And Corinne, Jeff, and Todd all boxed. Hilarious.

And here's a good reason we'll be careful about his influence as she gets older. (Just kidding, Todd. You're a great uncle. :) )

Now That They're Out

You might remember that the wonderful church ladies threw a baby shower for Leslie, Julie, and me the day before Grace was due. We were each having second babies, and it was a really special surprise to be given a shower for them. And the shower was just amazing.

Here's a picture, finally, of the babies together: Jackson, Grace, and David. Along with moms Julie, me, and Leslie. The boys were born at the end of April and are about six weeks younger than Grace.
