We didn't get our favorite cabin this year...or even our second favorite...but we got this studio cabin. We were close to one of the families that came with us, though, so that was nice. The kids slept on a foldout couch and a rollaway bed. It's good for them to learn to be flexible.
Again, Blogger is changing the order of my pictures. Grace's age group was the miners. The camp theme this year was inspired by the Settlers of Catan, a game we hadn't played before camp.
And, in no particular order, here are photos of my favorite people on the "low" ropes course, which is 20 feet in the air - not really low. Now that Benjamin is five, he can participate, which is a huge deal to him! I was so proud of everyone making it across!
Oh yes, and there was the climbing wall, too. Jonathan made it up, of course!

This is what I do when they're on the course.
Since this isn't our first time at camp and we have a better idea what to expect, we made a point of doing important free-time things at the beginning of the week. The ropes course was really important to the kids, and getting our annual family pictures was really important to me. So, after a fun afternoon, we cleaned up and visited with the amazing photographer who takes these pictures out of the goodness of her heart. She took pics of just the kids, but none of those turned our very well. Due to the kids, not her!
This is our best option for the family photo, so you will see it on this year's Christmas card if you are on our list. This year is a sending year - we're doing Christmas cards every other year unless we have a new baby or new address to announce. So, I have my work cut out for me!
