Kauai, the Seventh Part

Jeff brought his hammock along, and it proved to be a lot of fun.

Reading while listening to the ocean is always a great choice.

These two pieces are from Benjamin.  He said, "We want to Hawaii and we saw chickens."  The kids made a game of taking a daily count of chickens they saw on the side of the road.  A count over 100 wasn't unheard of.

Mom wanted to try drinking from a coconut.  So she did.  It wasn't as great as she had hoped, but still worth trying!

And reading your Bible overlooking the ocean is always a great choice.

Have I mentioned the amazing puzzle that Corinne sent with us?  It was wooden and intricate and...we probably would have finished it if we had set it up in the moms' living room, where we mostly ate our meals, but it was in our living room, so we didn't finish.

We were so thankful for the moms taking charge of meals so much of the time.
